In the celebratory social media post, the mountaineering legend further added, that if anyone wants to climb the big mountains, we can make it happen for you.

Life at the Death Zone

Nimsdai, the living mountaineering legend has been living his life in the death zone, completing his most astonishing feat the ‘14 Peak Summit’ on 18th October 2019, he has been leading other dreamers to the highest points on the earth.

To those of you who are not familiar with the ‘death zone’ term, it is a specific area above the 8,000-meter elevation on the mountain where the oxygen saturation is below 40%. It is so dangerous that spending time over 16 to 20 hours at the death zone can be fatal; the deadly death zones on the 8,000-meter class mountain have claimed the lives of hundreds of mountaineers.

Nimsdai, who is an avid mountaineering enthusiast and a legend has spent a significant amount of time in this death zone throughout his career. The deadly slopes of the 14 highest peaks in the world that made him the living legend that he is today, is also where he leads other dreamers.

There is no one who can do it better than the living legend himself, Nimsdai who has understood the highest peaks in the world like no one else, leads the mountaineering enthusiast seeking thrills on the slopes to the summit of these deadly peaks.

Certainly, there might be hardly anyone who is more proficient than this living legend with 41 out of 41 summits record on the 8,000 meters peaks when it comes to 1:1 mountain expedition guiding. If you wanna do it, do it with a legend.

Humble Begining to Living Legend

Nirmal Purja ‘Nimsdai’ was living his dream life, joining the Gurkha Regiment of the British Army at the age of 18 like his father and older siblings. He even made history in the British Army as the first-ever Gurkha regiment recruit to join the Special Boat Service (SBS) division in 2009.

However, everything changed when this mountaineering legend decided to do the Everest Base Camp Trek in 2012, just exploring the foothills of the glorious mountain peak didn’t satisfy the hunger of the adventurous soul dwelling inside this legend.

This exploration lit the spark that pushed him to learn mountaineering skills and he was already on the summit of Mt. Lobuche (East) at 6,119 meters shortly after his EBC trekking expedition. But, it was only in 2012 when Nimsdai scaled his first-ever 8,000-meter class peak, Mt Dhaulaigiri in just 14 days without acclimatization, that was when Nimsdai realized he was born with a gift.

So, the tales of this living legend started there, Nimsdai did the same when he ascended Mt. Everest for the first time in 2016, he completed the expedition within a few weeks which can take about two months.

By 23rd April 2019, Nimsdai had already put bis victory flag on the top of Mt. Annapurna (8,091 meters), the tenth highest mountain in the world as the first peak of his ‘Project Possible’. And the rest is history.
