Mingma has been successful in summiting seven peaks so far, some of which are Mount Everest (8848 m), Aconcagua (6961m), Denali (6194m), Kilimanjaro (5859m), Mount Elbrus (5642m), and Mount Vinson (4892m) in years 2004, 2022, 2022, 2022, 2022, and 2022, respectively.

In an interview with the Associated Press, Mingma said,
“We were the first brothers to climb all 14 highest mountains in the world, and now we are setting out to climb the highest peaks in the seven continents and reach both the Poles to become the ‘grand slam brothers of mountaineering’ in the climbing community,”.
The trio spent a month in Antarctica in an attempt to scale Mt Vinson and ski the last degree (the South Pole). They have been recorded, yet again, as the first three siblings to score this accomplishment.
Mingma Sherpa team ascends Nanga Parbat in 2023
Twenty team members led by Mingma Sherpa’s brother Chhang Dawa Sherpa and associated with Seven Summit Treks ascended Nanga Parbat in 2023. Sherpa proudly shared a picture of the summiteers on his Instagram with the caption,
“This is the first in the history that 20 climbers from the same team successfully climbed Nanga Parbat in One Single Day.”
